Why is my back pain recurring??
Back pain is a common problem in most of the persons who sit for long or work on different surfaces, heights and with load.
A load can be very light in weight, but carried for a long period of time, or a bad posture that is assumed for a long period of time. Load is not necessarily a heavy thing that we assume to have lifted.
Imagine carrying your back pack on one shoulder for an hour? That’s load enough to pull you onto one side.
Do my habits have something to do with it? YES.
Sitting in a wrong position – either leaning on one side more than the other is a bad habit. Crossing our legs above the knee and many others that your therapist should point out are all bad habits that should be corrected.
Question:
When you first suffered from a back pain and had to see your therapist, did you get advised on:
- Good posture at work, sitting, standing, sleeping, gaming or even resting?
- Lifting techniques, when to ask for help?
- Exercises that are specific to our core stability and back strengthening?
If you closely walk through the above from your last session and follow them well, then a recurring back pain should be a thing of the past.
If you did not touch the above steps in your treatment, then its time you talk to us at Moshon for a quick solution and tailor-made exercises to suit your back.
