We provide treatment for a number of conditions
Hydrotherapy is the use of water in the treatment of different conditions, including arthritis and related rheumatic complaints. Hydrotherapy differs from swimming because it involves special exercises that you do in a warm-water pool. The water temperature is usually 33–36ºC, which is warmer than a typical swimming pool.
At Moshon Physiotherapy Centres, we understand the intimacy of these issues. Our specialty-trained healthcare professionals are devoted to treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions by providing one-on-one care and customized treatment programs in a discreet and comfortable environment.
Taping is commonly used as an adjunct or temporary technique. Athletes often make use of taping as a protective mechanism in the presence of an existing injury. Some of the goals with taping are to restrict movement of injured joints, soft tissue compression to reduce swelling, support anatomical structures, and as protection from re-injury.
The Fascia Distortion is a model of diagnosis and treatment for common musculoskeletal conditions. FDM practitioners use six specific problems or “distortions” in the body’s connective tissue to improve conditions such as pulled muscles, strains, sprains and frozen shoulders.
Moshon’s certified lymphatic therapist implements the Complete Decongestive Therapy approach (CDT) with her lymphedema patients. Treatment may include manual lymphatic drainage, multilayer compression bandaging, exercises, compression garment measuring and fitting and extensive patient education.
This is the model of treatment that involves the use of joint manipulations, soft tissue manipulation, specific and general exercise prescription after a thorough subjective and objective assessment. It is a hands on approach that involves palpation of joint and muscles.
